Starting Wednesday, October 9th, the intersection at Cedar Hills Drive and Oak Road East (highlighted in yellow) will be completely closed. The work is expected to last up to 5 days. Waste Management has been notified of the closure, so residents can put out their garbage as they normally do.
Cedar Hills Drive will temporarily reopen while the intersection is closed. This will remain in effect until the work at the intersection is completed. Subsequently, additional closures will be scheduled on Cedar Hills Drive for repaving. Watch for detour and closure signs.
There will also be culinary water outages in the areas around Meadow Drive, 4100 W, 4160 W, and 9950 N (highlighted in blue) on Wednesday, October 9th between 9am-5pm. Houses that are expected to be affected will receive a door notice, but some houses may experience unexpected outages.
There may be loose gravel and other hazards, so please use caution when driving in construction zones. To prevent traffic jams, avoid the area if possible. Please be courteous to residents in the area while on detours, and give yourself extra time to get to your destination. Thank you for your patience as we work to improve the area!
