Culinary water should be restored to all residents. Please call the City at 801-785-9668 ext. 200 if you are unable to turn on your water. Thank you!

Water should be restored in the areas east of Mulberry drive. Areas west of Mulberry drive can expect the water outage to last 2-3 more hours. Thank you for your patience!

As work continues on the water line, more homes may be impacted than we expected . The areas on Oak Road West between Cedar Hills Drive and Aspen Cove, and Sage Road East may experience water outages. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

There will be a culinary water outage tomorrow, August 21st. We expect the outage to begin at 9:00am and end around 5:00pm. Sections of Cedar Hills Drive (between Oak Road East and Oak Road West) as well as some homes north of Cedar Hills Drive will be affected.
Refer to the map below to view potential affected areas. Door notices were delivered to homes we expect to be impacted by the outage. However, please note that as work continues, the areas and conditions may change.
Residents in the affected area should prepare for ZERO water between this time. This includes sinks, showers, toilets, etc. We recommend filling a sink or bathtub with water before hand in case of emergency.
We understand this is a major inconvenience and we appreciate your patience. We will be working as fast as possible to complete this project. Thank you for your understanding!

In collaboration with our neighboring cities Alpine, American Fork, Draper, Highland, and Lehi, we have studied the potential creation of a new school district that would serve children in our communities. Over the past 45-day public comment period, we have collectively held over a dozen public meetings and heard from hundreds of residents.
Join us on Tuesday, August 6 at 6 p.m. for a special public meeting at the Community Recreation Center. At this meeting, the City Council is scheduled to vote on whether to put the question of a new school district on the ballot for voters to decide this fall.
This content is intended to present factual information only. For the perspectives of proponents and opponents of the proposed Central School District, please visit centralschooldistrict.org.

There is currently a culinary water leak in the areas south of Bridgestone Dr between 4500 W and Deerfield elementary school. Our public works department is working as fast as they can to repair the leak, and we expect the work to be completed this morning. Residents will have some water, enough to flush toilets and wash hands, but not enough for showers/things that require more water. Thank you for your patience!

We are so lucky in Cedar Hills to have playgrounds, sport courts, a splash pad, walking trails, and many other amenities for our use and enjoyment in Cedar Hills! We invite you to take ownership in teaching and modeling for our children how to care for and appreciate our parks. We hope you’ll join us!
“Mark Your Park”
This week, show your appreciation for our parks in Cedar Hills! It’s an event for all ages.
During the week, you are invited to find ways to show your love and appreciation for the wonderful parks and amenities we have in Cedar Hills! Here are some ideas:
- Get out your sidewalk chalk, choose your favorite park, and write a message of appreciation or something you love about that park on the sidewalks.
- Choose a park or area in Cedar Hills and do something to beautify it, like picking up trash or sweeping off a sidewalk.
- Write a Thank You note to Cedar Hills Public Works Department who work year-round to keep our parks and amenities amazing.
- Tag you social media with #MarkYourParkCedarHills to share what you’re doing.
Let’s work together to ensure our parks stay places we can all enjoy!

There will not be a delay in trash pick up this week.

The road resurfacing project has begun. This may cause traffic delays and possible detours. Please check your front doors for door notifications of when or if it will be in your area. Adhering to the instructions on door notices and in the streets will ensure this project to be completed in a timely manner. We appreciate your cooperation!

We are sad to report that last night Harvey Park was extensively damaged due to vandals who ignited fireworks in the playground. Due to the significant damage to the play structure, safety netting, support structures, and play surface, portions of the Harvey Park playground will be closed through the end of the summer or longer. American Fork Police and American Fork Fire Rescue are currently investigating this incident. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time.

Trash pick up will be delayed by one day this week due to Independence Day.

There have been recent reports of teenagers shooting BB guns, airsoft guns, Orbeez guns and water guns at people, private property, and City property. These incidents have caused damages to private and City property and are considered vandalism. Please remind your children to be safe and respectful when playing with toy guns. If you have any information or witness vandalism in the future, please reach out to the American Fork Police Department non-emergency line at 801-763-3020.
